Diocesan Girls’ School 165th Anniversary Sports Fun Day
The school will be having another joyful homecoming event; it is for DGS sports teams across generations to come together to celebrate our school’s anniversary and long tradition of excellence in sports. Besides old girls and current DGS and DGJS students, we are very honoured to be joined by some of our DGS elite athletes who are former or current representatives of the Hong Kong Team in their respective sports.
On this special occasion, old girls and current DGS and DGJS students will participate in the 165th Celebration Run as well as the 165th Celebration Swim, and some of our DGS elite athletes will play exhibition matches to showcase the talents, achievements and solidarity of the DGS sports community. What’s more, to share the fun and joy of sports with the DGS community, there will be an opportunity for younger children to explore different sports (such as fencing, orienteering andtable-tennis, etc.) and to challenge themselves with various athletic activities. Due to limited venue capacities, the Sports Fun Day will be opened to alumnae on a ‘first-come, first-served’ basis. Please note that each alumna can only bring one family member but more capacities are available to alumna just coming by herself.
There is also an option to purchase souvenirs from this event, if you are interested in this, the deadline to submit the paid pre-order in the registration must be on or before Feb 23, Monday.
