DGS 165th Anniversary Concerts "From Generation to Generation"
The Diocesan Alumnae Orchestra and Diocesan Graduate Singers were deeply honoured to perform at the school's 165th Anniversary Concerts, held from 9th – 11th July 2026.
The 70-strong Diocesan Graduate Singers performed "Celebrate Us" and Festival Sanctus, chosen as a dedication to the school's milestone anniversary. Close to 60 Diocesan Alumnae Orchestra players then performed excerpts from Rossini's William Tell Overture and "Dance of the Knights" from Prokofiev's Romeo and Juliet Suite No. 2.
True to the concert theme, both groups joined forces with DGS, DGJS orchestras and choirs for a grand finale featuring Brahms, Mahler, and Brahe, concluding with the school hymn, to celebrate the shared spirit uniting generations of Diocesan women.
