Rising Together: A Choir Aid Concert & 萃韻迎新歲: Music in Hospital
DGSingers participated in two meaningful community performances this winter.
On 30th January, 37 alumnae joined seven other choirs in "Rising Together," a Choir Aid Concert supporting the Tai Po Relief Fund through SKH Welfare Council. Their diverse repertoire included Lux Aeterna, 人算什麽, Cantate Domino in B-flat, and Climb Every Mountain. The concert concluded with all 200+ singers performing Under the Lion Rock together.
On 28th February, DGSingers brought music and comfort to Kwong Wah Hospital's "Music in Hospital" programme. Thirty-seven alumnae and 12 children performed in the hospital lobby for patients, families, and staff, with senior hospital executives in attendance. They again concluded with Under the Lion Rock as a collective expression of perseverance and solidarity.
