Guided Tour by Christie's Auction House on Chinese Works of Art
The Social Subcommittee organized a guided tour of Christie's Hong Kong Asian Art Week exhibition at The Henderson in Central on 25th April 2025.
Beginning with a group photo by Jeff Koons' 'Balloon Swan' sculpture, the tour was led by Christie's specialists who shared insights on various Asian art pieces. Highlights included Chinese paintings by artists like 張大千, rare 雍正 famille rose tea bowls, and classical Huanghuali furniture from the Ming and Qing dynasties. The group enjoyed viewing these meticulously curated works while taking in panoramic views of Central from the gallery's windows in this Zaha Hadid-designed building.
