2022 Mentorship Program Kick off
The DOGA Membership Subcommittee hosted a virtual kick-off meeting for the 2022 Mentorship Program on 15 Jan 2022.
The subcommittee was pleased with the overwhelming response where close to 100 mentors and mentees participated in the event. They were also grateful to have Ms Benita Yu shared her experience as a mentor over the years. This year, there are 72 pairs of mentors and mentees with many new faces who joined as mentors. It is particularly exciting to see girls who have benefitted as mentees in the past have now taken on the role as mentors. The disciplines of medicine, legal, and banking & finance continue to top the list and took over more than 75% of the matched pool. In the future, they look forward to seeing a more diversified pool of participants representing more industry types.
