Art Club CNY Peach Blossom Painting Workshop

To welcome Chinese New Year, Art Club organised a Peach Blossom Painting Workshop on 6th Feb 2021. Prior to the session, participants received a set of materials including Chinese ink, paint, brushes, Shikishi board and guided exercises from the instructor. Under the patient guidance of the instructor during the 2-hour workshop, we learned about the history and philosophy behind Chinese painting, the major differences between Chinese and Western art, and hand-painted our own peach blossom painting to decorate our homes for CNY.
