Report on St James Settlement Project - March 27, 2004

A total of 15 volunteers including sub-committee members took part in our first community project on March 27, Saturday at St James Settlement, Chai Wan.

The aim of the project was to teach basic English through games and play to children from new immigrant and/or welfare families. At least 18 children, aged 6 - 11 took part. It was a rewarding experience for us and a fun filled games afternoon for everyone. Here are some of the highlights of the day.

We would also like to take this opportunity to extend our heartiest thanks to all the volunteers who took part on that day.

Anna Yeung and Irma Kong
