The old girls of the Diocesan Girls' School wish
to pay tribute to Dr Catherine Joyce Symons who passed away peacefully
on 11 June 2004 in England. Not only did she nurture her students' hearts and minds, she touched the lives of each and everyone with her encouragement and wisdom. She will always be a source of inspiration for us all. |

The funeral service was held in Surrey, UK on
June 22, 2004. Memorial service in Hong Kong was held on Tuesday 13 July 2004 at 3:00 p.m. in St John's Cathedral, Central, Hong Kong. Donation in lieu of flowers to Dr C.J. Symons Scholarship, cheques payable to "DOGA Foundation Ltd.", c/o Diocesan Old Girls' Association, Diocesan Girls' School, 1 Jordan Road, Kowloon, Hong Kong. |
