Investment Outlook for 2005 - January 10th, 2005

'Investment Outlook for 2005' kicked off the first seminar held by the Social Committee for 2005. Held at the Hong Kong Club, the event was well attended by 34 of our old girls and guests.

Our speaker Ms. Mok Yuen Peng, Managing Director & Head of Investment Advisory Group for HSBC Private Bank in Asia, provided us with a fresh update on the global investment environment for the year 2005.

Besides providing some insights on the direction of interest rates for 2005, Ms. Mok also gave a broad overview of the equity market, the bond market, the currency market and the commodity market and gave some recommendations on portfolio allocation for the coming year.

The seminar ended with numerous floor questions as members eagerly took the opportunity to consult Ms. Mok about investment strategies. Overall the audience gained a well understanding of the topic and took home some of the hottest tips for investment outlook for 2005!
