We were honoured and delighted have Dr. Lawerence Tang, a senior gynaecologist working at the Hospital Authority speak to us about hormone influences on femininity and hormone theraphy. The lunch seminar was well attended by 48 persons. Dr Tang began by using the four seasons to explain our life cycle and then discussed the influences of hormones on women from childhood, adolescence, young adulthood, adulthood, mid-life to old age. |
He also shared with us his valuable knowledge and the latest research resluts on hormone theraphy. As expected, many questions were raised during Q & A session and after the seminar regarding the effects of delayed childbirth on mother and child, and the effects of continued use of hormone theraphy. As a closing remark, Dr Tang urged us all to maintain a healthy lifestyle in order to keep fit and beautiful. |
