DOGA 惜食不浪費 Workshop

Do you want to learn interesting ways to minimize food waste while supporting a local charity during this challenging period?

Are you trying to find meaningful virtual activities for your children during the "summer" holidays?

DOGA now has the opportunity to join a workshop hosted by Food Angel (惜食堂) to transform bread crusts and leftover snacks into tasty magic fingers! We will learn about various sources of food waste in our daily lives, and also do some simple cooking.

We suggest a donation of $200 per party, and participants are more than welcome to donate above the suggested amount.

Registration for the event will start at 9:00 a.m. on 19th March (this Saturday) and ends at 5 p.m. on 23rd March. We have a maximum limit of 10 spaces, so do register soon!

About Food Angel 惜食堂

Food Angel is a food rescue and food assistance program launched in 2011 by Bo Charity Foundation with the mission of "Waste Not, Hunger Not, With Love". The program rescues edible surplus food from different sectors of the food industry that would otherwise be disposed of as waste. Following strict safety protocols, the rescued food items will then be prepared as nutritious hot meals in their central kitchens and be redistributed to serve the underprivileged communities in Hong Kong. .
