2023 Mentoring Program Kick-off
The DOGA Membership Subcommittee hosted an in-person kick-off meeting on 11th February 2023 for the 17th Mentoring Program.
It had been over three years since our last face-to-face kick-off event and we could not be more thankful with the astounding responses from the attendees. There were 50 pairs of mentors & mentees matched with over 70 participants this year, while the disciplines of medicine, legal, and banking & finance continue to top the list of our matched pool. In addition, we saw a more diversified pool compared to previous years and we look forward to further expanding the type of industries covered in the program. At the meeting, we invited our coordinators Shiobhon Luk, Ng Yu Hang, and Cindy Fong, to be on a panel discussion to share their experiences in work and in leading the program. We were glad to see a lot of fruitful and meaningful exchanges during the breakout sessions.
