Conversational English and Basic Dining Etiquette Workshop for the Elderly 2014

This workshop was held in the afternoon of 11th October, 2014, at the Salvation Army Yaumatei Multi-service Centre for Senior Citizens. We offered a group of senior citizens, who have all contributed to building our society as it stands today, the chance of learning English and basic dining etiquette.

All participants and volunteers had a wonderful time communicating in simple English, learning about the differences between American and European dining etiquette, as well as the use of utensils. The senior citizens also had the opportunity to practice the dining etiquette.

We sincerely hope to host similar meaningful events in the future.
