DOGA Netball Team named Champion -
DOGA Netball Team played their finals in the Hong Kong Ladies Netball League Division 3 on April 27th, 2009.  After an exciting match,  the DOGA team defeated the Hong Kong Football Club team with a score of  23 -18, bringing a halt to the latter's attempt to seize the Grand Slam by winning in all four divisions. CONGRATULATIONS!

While the DOGA Team was Champion in Division 4 last year, other netball teams were amazed that we won the Championship so soon this year in Division 3.  A bigger challenge lies ahead. The team will have to play in Division 2 next year which is a substantially more competitive league.  But with the DGS spirit, I am sure our ladies will continue to do their best.

We are looking for new members. Interested old girls, please contact us at doga.sports@gmail.com

DOGA Choir Recruitment- The Diocesan Graduate Singers will be resuming choir rehearsals on Friday, 29 February 2008, in preparation for our next annual concert at the end of the year.  The tentative theme of the concert is "Homage" or "Tribute".  We are planning to select songs in praise and thanks to God who has granted blessings to our school over the years.  As most of the buildings are going to be demolished, we are looking for songs to pay homage to our school or in remembrance of special school events that took place in the Hall. Besides inviting old choir members to return, we are also looking for new recruits.  We would like to have some 50 people singing!  If you enjoy singing, and can commit to attending rehearsals regularly on Friday evenings from 6:15 – 8:00 pm, then WE WANT YOU!!  We do understand that the time commitment is a major consideration for many – time is a particularly precious commodity in Hong Kong.  However, we do feel that the commitment brings its own rewards – a sense of satisfaction and accomplishment, as well as the pleasure of making good music with friends.  Many of our members have come to view the rehearsals as a welcome and precious break from the daily pressures of work and taking care of our families. In case you have any queries, please call Betty Choy or Theresa Woo on 98233648 and 62348888 respectively.
