Much appreciation goes to our Organizing Committee for making perfect arrangment so that we all can enjoy an evening of fine dining and good company.

The DOGA 2003 Annual Dinner was held on 29th October, 2003 at the Conrad Hotel, Hong Kong. A total number of 335 ladies attended the special event. There is a record attendance of alumnae spreading over 50 years, from year 1951 to 2000.

Similar to previous year, every attendee was given a color ribbon at the entrance of the ballroom so as to facilitate the identity of the house that each of the girls belonged to at School.

Before the dinner started, Dr. Vivian Wong (President of DOGA Limited) gave an introduction speech and Mrs. Christina Chiang (DGS Music Teacher and Choir Conductress) together with the Graduate Singers led everyone sing the School hymn, which was beautifully sung by all the girls.

Immediately after the singing of the School hymn, a delicious Chinese meal was served. The first exciting event for the evening was the distribution of the great bundle of table prizes and the souvenir items laid on each of the tables in the ballroom.

The Best Turnout Class for the Annual Dinner was again Year of 1973 with 26 girls attended the dinner. Congratulation to the girls of 1973 Year!

While everyone was busy enjoying the dinner, lucky draw began. Various grand prizes including cash coupons were given out to the lucky winners. Following the lucky draw, the games started. Within a short time, more and more girls rushed to the stage to play the games that would help their own house win the Millenium Cup. At this stage, everyone was enjoying the evening of great funs and reunion; either they were busy in catching up the recent development, career, family and otherwise, of the other old classmates and/or actively participating in various games held throughout the course of the dinner. The winner of the games this year was Skipton.

Following the rowdy games time was the class photo time; almost all of the classes took the opportunity to record their beautiful and happy faces together in pictures. The girls took their pictures on stage by year, lining up properly and posing like models; just like taking the class photos at school.

• Esther Ma and Alice Chan for their professionalism as the MC for the evening;
• Lisa Lau and Nancy Chan for printing of the program for the event;
• Jacqueline Kwan for the wonderful job in the ambience and decoration of the venue;
• Helen Wong for arranging the seating plan;
• Grace Lam, Connie Lung and members of Membership Subcommittee for their excellent work in reception, registration and recruitment of new members;
• Joyce Lo, Angela Lau and all members of the games team for devising and conducting the games; and
• Anna Hui, Terry Iu, Sarah Chen, Nancy Chan, Enoch Li, Deborah Ng, Virginia Lee and Evalina Yim for helping out the lucky draw and logistics.
